Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview - Shift: Days, 4x10hrs - Hours: 40 hrs/wk - Start Date: Mar 2, 2026 - Length: 13 weeks - Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring at least one year of nursing experience, AHA-issued BLS and ACLS certifications, and an active OK or compact RN license. Details - Position is based in a hospital Cardiac Cath Lab setting - 4x10-hour day shifts per week, totaling 40 hours per week - 13-week contract Requirements - Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN license (eNLC) - Current BLS and ACLS certifications, both issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) - Minimum of one year of RN experience - Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred - Proficiency in organizing, planning, and evaluating nursing care - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Basic computer skills Additional Information - Assumes responsibility for an assigned group of patients, monitoring physiological data and intervening as necessary - Documents patient responses to nursing interventions, prescribed treatments, and physician order changes - Assists physicians during patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures - Administers medications, initiates and monitors IV infusions and blood products - Educates patients and families on care plans, hospital procedures, and discharge instructions - Delegates tasks to support staff and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams - Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted - Travelers who have previously worked at this facility may extend one time for a maximum of 26 total weeks; a 6-month separation period is required before being eligible for a subsequent contract American Traveler Job ID P-674574.
