Job Skills / Requirements Duties and Responsibilities: We’re hiring reliable, experienced, Armed Security Officers! The person in this position will maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and co-workers by patrolling, monitoring premises, and performing search procedures. Job Duties and Responsibilities: • Remain alert, avoid distractions, and observe all activity around the post • Patrol a designated area on foot or in a vehicle • Enforce company and client policies • Observe, report, and document violations of policy by notifying the Shift Lieutenant or Control Dispatch • Respond to incidents in a quick manner • Protect everyone and everything within the limits and duties of the post • One will only use reasonable force, up to and including lethal force, when necessary to protect life • Observe, report, and prevent incidents by providing a physical presence • Officers will remain on the post and wait until they have proper relief • Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner • Monitor for irregular or unusual activity • Secure facility and designated areas • Investigate and prepare reports on incidents Qualifications: • Ability to stand or walk for long periods • Must have your own 9mm Weapon? • Must have excellent written and communication skills • Must be reliable, have a positive attitude, and uphold ethical behavior • High school diploma or GED equivalent • Must at least 21 years of age? • Armed Security License? • CLEET Certification License 20SGA 5228 SCR123 Prosegur is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
