Job Description:
TeamSigma, a pioneer in harnessing the power of artificial
intelligence and machine learning in the energy sector, is seeking
a skilled Power Distribution & Make-Ready Designer to join our
dedicated team. This role focuses on designing and planning
efficient power distribution systems to meet the growing needs of
urban and rural areas while ensuring compliance with regulatory
standards and promoting sustainable practices. Design and analyze
power distribution networks to ensure optimized operation and cost
efficiency. Prepare, review, and update installation diagrams for
construction of new, or modification of existing, overhead and
underground lines and equipment. Collaborate with municipal
authorities and utility companies on make-ready engineering for
wireless and wireline communications equipment. Conduct field
inspections to ensure installations meet design specifications and
comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Utilize GIS and
CAD software for the design and documentation of electric utility
facilities. Participate in team meetings for project planning and
to discuss design alternatives. Provide technical support during
project constructions and resolve issues that arise. Proficiency in
electrical engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, GIS tools,
PLS-CADD). Strong understanding of the fundamentals of electrical
power systems and their components. Experience with regulatory
compliance and standards in the electric power sector. Ability to
analyze and interpret technical data and provide solutions.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Capability to
manage multiple projects concurrently under tight deadlines.

Professional Engineer (PE) license is an added advantage.
Certification in AutoCAD or similar design software is
preferred.
