join our team as a Manufacturing Engineer. PLEASE NOTE: Must be a
US Citizen to be considered for this position. The Manufacturing
Engineer is responsible for daily engineering support for the
manufacturing/repair operations. They will help resolve shop issues
and aid in streamlining the manufacturing/repair processes. The
Manufacturing Engineer will also help design tooling and shop aids
as needed by operations. Essential Responsibilities Provides
engineering support to the operations floor Responsible for
supporting startup operations of new manufacturing/repair lines
and/or providing daily engineering in support for existing
manufacturing/repair processes Resolves errors with engineering and
other technical data, both internally and with external parties
Identify areas where modifications to the work instructions or
other documents are required to improve quality, reduce cost, and
optimize build sequence, and schedules Develops tooling
requirements based on manufacturing and engineering requirements
Understand and comply with internal, external, industry and
regulatory requirements (company QMS, AS9100, FAA/EASA, etc.).

B.S. degree in mechanical, industrial or manufacturing engineering
or similar engineering degree Ability to read, interpret and
understand engineering and technical data Familiar with
manufacturing processes (welding, machining, wiring, etc.)
Preferred Education and Experience Aerospace and Defense
manufacturing production and/or MRO experience Experience in
industrial manufacturing settings Ability to interpret GD&T on
engineering drawings Lean/Six Sigma experience Primary Work
Environment Manufacturing production Climate controlled primarily,
occasionally not climate controlled Shop/Warehouse Occasional loud
noises Occasional fumes and particles Frequent moving mechanical
equipment and vibrations Physical Demands The followingis

Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Open and able to work occasional overtime

supervisory or management responsibilities. Travel requirements
Rarely (up to 10% of the year) Required Personal Equipment/Tooling
Protective steel-toed footwear when in the shop areas. Other
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required for job duties and
responsibilities will be provided as necessary by Dow Aero,
