Job Summary/Description:

KSWO is seeking a Director/MCO. Technical Media producers (TMP) are a mix of master control operators (MCO) and technical directors (TD). Regular responsibilities include directing newscasts and cut-ins, maintaining studio equipment, fulfilling graphic requests, live shot coordinating, writing discrepancy reports, ingesting programming, segmenting programming, monitoring on-air signals, maintaining logs, and performing other duties as assigned. In addition to the attention to detail required by an MCO, this position also requires a close working relationship with news producers to create and execute dynamic, fast-paced newscasts. This position requires a positive team player with a passion for broadcast media.
