Job Description:
The OR Nurse is responsible for assisting surgeons in the
operating room. Operating Room Nurses will prep the operating room
and the patient for the procedure and make sure that all equipment
is clean and operating properly.ResponsibilitiesOR RN duties
include:
Evaluating the health of the patient before, during and after the
operation.
Anticipate what the surgeons need and provide medical instruments
and medical supplies to them during operations.
Preserving and tracking the items needed for lab work.
RequirementsOne year of experience as an OR Nurse within the past
two years.
Current RN License in good standing.
Up to date BLS from American Heart Association.
Negative Drug Screen.
