RN, Women's Center - Altus, OK
Provides direct and indirect patient care in the maternity and newborn care setting.-- Communicates with physicians about changes in patient's clinical condition including: maternal and fetal status, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.-- Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.-- Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments.-- Participates in performance improvement activities.-- Requirements:--Current Oklahoma state Registered Nurse Licensure.-- One or more years of recent Labor and Delivery/Post Partum/Newborn Nursery experience preferred.-- Current Neonatal Resuscitation certification*.-- BCLS required.-- (May be obtained during New Employee Orientation).-- Fetal monitoring workshop within the past 3 years* (Upon hire).-- Regulatory Requirement indicated with a "*" may be completed within 12 months of employment.-- Previous work history that demonstrates steady attendance and punctuality is required.-- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.-- Additional languages preferred.-- Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.
