Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Echo Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Allied Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: Echo Technologist - Echo Tech Job Details: • Operate imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images • Review images to ensure good quality and diagnostic value • Identify normal and abnormal imaging results • Communicate summary of results to physicians and other health professionals • Alert physicians to urgent problems requiring immediate attention • Minimum 6 months of experience required • Required certifications: ARDMS and BLS (AHA) • Oklahoma nursing license required (compact states accepted) • Allied and therapy travelers begin orientation on Tuesdays • On-call responsibilities paid at $2 per hour with 1-hour minimum • All compliance documentation must be submitted one week prior to start date • Local candidates within 50 miles will receive reduced rate placement Facility: This healthcare organization is a 265-bed regional referral center and integrated delivery system providing medical services in virtually every specialty.
