Apply now to join one of the top Oklahoma nursing jobs!/n /n/nTravel Nursing Job Details/n /n - Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) – Travel Assignment/n - Location: Duncan, OK 73533 (Southern Oklahoma)/n - Healthcare Setting: Emergency Department (ED), Level II Trauma Center/n - Assignment Type: Travel Nursing/n - Start Date: October 22, 2025/n - End Date: January 21, 2026/n - Contract Duration: 13 weeks/n - Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 3 shifts per week/n - Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week/n - Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend/n - Patient Ratios: 1:2-4/n - Unit Size: 19 beds, 22 rooms/n - Orientation: 12 hours/n - Estimated Weekly Salary: $1400-$1500/n /n/nER RN Job Requirements/n /n - Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience (travel nursing experience required)/n - Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license (Oklahoma or compact state)/n - Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, PALS, ISTAT, ENPC/n - Experience in a Level II Trauma Center preferred/n - Meditech charting experience preferred/n - COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)/n - First-time travel nurses not accepted/n /n/nER Nurse Responsibilities/n /n - Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced ED environment/n - Manage patient ratios of 1:2-4, including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics/n - Perform triage, assessments, and interventions for trauma, stroke, cardiac, orthopedic, psychiatric, respiratory, and other emergencies/n - Administer medications, IVs, blood products, and manage central and arterial lines/n - Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, and social services/n - Float within scope as needed to support facility needs/n - Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation/n /n/n /n Discover the charm of Duncan, Oklahoma—enjoy a friendly atmosphere, vibrant local culture, and convenient access to lakes, trails, and community events.
