TravelNurseSource is working with Patterns LLC to find a qualified Stepdown RN in Lawton, Oklahoma, 73503! Pay Information $30 to $39 per hour About The Position The Stepdown Registered Nurse (with Cardiac focus) Will care for a variety of patients including CP rule out, STEMI, NSTEMI, post CABG, post thoracotomy, post peripheral vascular surgery/procedure, respiratory failure with BIPAP or Airvo, dysrhythmias or blood pressures requiring IV intervention and monitoring, CHF, sepsis, etc Post Cardiac Cath Lab patients are recovered on the unit and nursing is responsible for management of arterial sheaths. Pressors or IV infusions are not titrated on CVCU. Develop and implement total nursing care for patients by assessment, nursing diagnosis, patient care plans, provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. Develop systems to provide care to a population including infants, children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.
