Job Description RN Supervisor Join our team as an RN Supervisor at Mystic Healthcare, a 100-bed, family-owned skilled nursing facility in scenic Mystic, CT! In this leadership role, you'll oversee nursing operations on your assigned unit, support staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and help maintain the highest standards of resident care and safety. What We Offer • Competitive pay • Shift differentials • 401(k) with employer match • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance • Employer-Paid Life Insurance • Short- & Long-Term Disability • Paid Time Off • Paid Meal Period • Paid Holiday Off • Employee Assistance Program • Longevity Credit • Uniform Reimbursement • Employee Referral Program • Free Parking Shift: Monday -Friday 11pm-7am RN Supervisor Duties - Plan, develop, organize, implement, and direct nursing services for assigned units - Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as facility policies - Make nursing and aide assignments based on resident needs and staff skill sets - Review grievances or complaints from staff and report concerns to the Director of Nursing - Ensure adequate stock of medications, supplies, and equipment is available - Assist in the development of preliminary and comprehensive resident assessments - Review nurses' notes to ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and reflective of resident status - Encourage and support staff participation in training and development - Provide leadership, guidance, and support to nursing personnel - Promote resident dignity, safety, and quality of care at all times Requirements - Nursing degree from an accredited college or university - Minimum 2 years of direct care experience in long-term care, restorative, or geriatric settings (LPN or RN) - Minimum 1 year of nursing management experience - Current CPR or BLS certification - Must meet all Connecticut licensure requirements with no active disciplinary actions - Strong leadership, communication, and assessment skills Our Caring Community Mystic Healthcare is a family-owned skilled nursing facility specializing in short-term rehabilitation and long-term care.
