PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a nursing job in Lawton, Oklahoma.

Rotation Required Job Description: The Stepdown Registered Nurse
(with Cardiac focus) Will care for a variety of patients including
CP rule out, STEMI, NSTEMI, post CABG, post thoracotomy, post
peripheral vascular surgery/procedure, respiratory failure with
BIPAP or Airvo, dysrhythmias or blood pressures requiring IV
intervention and monitoring, CHF, sepsis, etc Post Cardiac Cath Lab
patients are recovered on the unit and nursing is responsible for
management of arterial sheaths. Pressors or IV infusions are not
titrated on CVCU. Develop and implement total nursing care for
patients by assessment, nursing diagnosis, patient care plans,
provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing
and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for
professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.
Requirements: Develop systems to provide care to a population
including infants, children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.
Authorized to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of
Oklahoma. - Required At least 6 months of nursing experience -
Required. Currently holds or willing to obtain NIH Certification -
Required BSN - Preferred. Certification Requirements BLS NIH At
least 6 months of nursing experience - Required. Currently holds or
