Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Sonographer - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer for night shifts, requiring at least 6 months of vascular and echo experience. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in a hospital setting - 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday through Thursday - Patient care includes both vascular and echocardiographic imaging - Occasional weekend day call and one weekend call every 6-7 weeks - Identify normal and abnormal imaging results and communicate findings to physicians or other health professionals - Alert physicians to urgent problems discovered during imaging - Applicants living within 50 miles are considered local candidates and may be offered a reduced rate - No more than 5 days of requested time off can be accommodated - Former direct employees are not eligible to return through an agency until 6 months after leaving direct employment - Orientation for allied travelers begins on Tuesdays /n /n Requirements/n - Minimum of 6 months experience with vascular and echo procedures - ARDMS certification required if applicable - Current BLS (AHA) certification required - Ability to operate imaging equipment and review diagnostic images /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-646364.
