Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/26/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - Cardiac Tele Stepdown Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM • Work on a 33-bed cardiac telemetry stepdown unit • Maintain patient ratio of 1:4 • Required to work 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule • No block scheduling - flexibility required for scheduling • At least 6 months of stepdown experience required • Must be able to float to Med/Surg or ER to take CVCU/Med Surg holds • Care for patients with STEMI/NSTEMI, chest pain rule out, CHF, and noninvasive ventilation • Provide post-ICU care for cardiothoracic surgery patients • Administer antiarrhythmic IV medications • Manage patients with peripheral vascular compromise • No applicants with any disciplinary action will be accepted Facility: This healthcare facility operates a specialized 33-bed cardiac telemetry stepdown unit providing comprehensive cardiac care services.
