This role involves comprehensive assessment, treatment planning, medication administration, therapeutic communication, crisis intervention, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote patient safety and recovery. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and ongoing patient evaluations Develop, implement, and document individualized treatment plans Administer medications and monitor for therapeutic effects and adverse reactions Provide therapeutic communication, emotional support, and crisis intervention Monitor patient behavior, safety, and overall well-being Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and coping strategies Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals Ensure a safe, structured, and supportive treatment environment Required Qualifications Minimum 6 months of Adolescent Behavioral Health experience Active Oklahoma RN License (must be active at time of submission) BLS certification (AHA) – required prior to start Must be 21 years of age or older Preferred Qualifications Handle with Care Certification Submission Requirements Complete work history Permanent address (local candidates within 50 miles considered at reduced rate) Proof of required certifications and licenses Facility Overview Southwestern Medical Center is a 199-bed acute care hospital serving the Lawton–Ft.
