Registered Nurse (RN) | Pediatrics Location: Oklahoma City, OK Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,380 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Pediatrics RN in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 73104! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatrics Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year of nursing experience required License: Current RN License issued by the state board of nursing or a current multistate compact RN License Certifications: Current Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association Must-Have: PALS certification from the American Heart Association Description: Under general supervision, provides nursing care in a hospital to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex. Assumes responsibility for an assigned group of patients. Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments. Notes all changes in physician orders on assigned patients. Assists physicians in the examination of patients and in performing minor diagnostic procedures and treatments. Obtains and monitors physiological data of patients. Observes the physiological manifestations of patients and intervenes when necessary. Administers medication as prescribed. Initiates, regulates, and monitors intravenous infusions and blood products. Delivers patient care competently. Interacts with family and patients in sharing care plans while in the hospital and at discharge. Informs patients and families of hospital procedures. Makes referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel. Delegates tasks to support staff. Performs other duties as assigned. Displays good verbal and written communication skills. Responds effectively to the cultural and language needs of patients and visitors. Maintains good working relationships with other employees. Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services and apply nursing techniques.
