Job Description:

services, is seeking a passionate and skilled Speech Pathologist to

our inpatient rehabilitation hospitals and home health agencies, we

and development. As a Speech Pathologist at Encompass Health, you
will have the opportunity to work with diverse patient populations,
providing diagnostic and therapeutic services to individuals with
communicative and swallowing disorders, ensuring the highest
standards of patient care. Assess and diagnose speech, language,
and swallowing disorders in patients through a range of diagnostic
tests and assessments. Plan and provide appropriate treatment for
speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing
disorders, tailored to each patient’s needs. Collaborate with a
multidisciplinary team including physical therapists, occupational
therapists, and physicians to design and implement comprehensive
treatment plans. Document patient care and progress thoroughly,
maintaining timely and accurate patient records. Educate patients
and families about communication and swallowing strategies,
providing guidance and support throughout the rehabilitation
process. Expertise in diagnosing and treating a variety of
communicative and swallowing disorders. Strong interpersonal and
communication skills, with the ability to tailor information to
diverse audiences. Proficient in utilizing various diagnostic tools
and rehabilitation technologies. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance 401k Current Speech-Language Pathologist license
as required by state. Certificate of Clinical Competence in
Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) issued by the American
Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
