Job Description:
Gifted Healthcare is actively seeking a dedicated and
compassionate Travel Psych LPN to join our team in Elk City,
Oklahoma. This challenging yet rewarding position offers an
opportunity to work in dynamic psychiatric care environments aimed
at delivering superior nursing care and support. The ideal
candidate will assist in the treatment of patients suffering from
various mental health conditions, ensuring the delivery of
personalized patient care based on individual treatment plans. At
Gifted Healthcare, we are devoted to improving patient outcomes and
providing our staff with the support and resources they need to
excel in their roles. Administer medications and treatments as
prescribed by healthcare providers. Monitor patient progress and
respond to medical and psychiatric emergencies. Participate in
treatment plan development and implementation. Maintain accurate
patient records and document patient status and treatment goals.
Provide emotional support to patients and their families, educating
them on management of mental health issues. Collaborate with a
multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. Proficiency in
administering psychiatric medication and treatment. Strong
communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle
high-stress situations calmly and effectively. Experience with
electronic health record (EHR) systems. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Valid LPN license in the state of
Oklahoma or ability to obtain. CPR certified. Preferably certified
in Psychiatric-Mental Health.
