The chosen candidate will work closely with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care in psychiatric units, contributing to both patient recovery and community health. Provide direct patient care under the supervision of the registered nurse Monitor and record patient's mental health status and treatment progress Administer medications and treatments per physician’s orders Assist in the development and implementation of care plans Educate patients and their families on treatment regimes and home care systems Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate integrated and comprehensive care Proficiency in administering psychiatric medication Strong observation skills for assessing patient’s mental health Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare staff Capability to handle high-stress environments Empathy and compassion towards patients with mental health disorders Valid LPN license in the state of Oklahoma or a compact state CPR certification Any psychiatric nursing certifications would be a plus
