Doctor of Medicine | Obstetrics and Gynecology Location: Lawton, OK Employer: VieMed Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: 12 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Temp - Ultrasound - General / OB/GYN (Nights) Lawton, OK Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Temp Ultrasound Technician specializing in General and OB/GYN imaging, delivering critical diagnostic insights during overnight shifts. This vital role ensures high-quality imaging, accurate identification of normal and abnormal results, and effective communication with healthcare professionals to facilitate timely patient care. Required Skills: Proficiency in operating ultrasound imaging equipment Strong understanding of ultrasound principles and protocols Ability to review and interpret ultrasound images to ensure diagnostic quality Excellent attention to detail in identifying normal and abnormal findings Effective communication skills to relay results clearly to physicians and healthcare teams Knowledge of safety standards and infection control procedures Ability to work independently during night shifts Nice to Have Skills: Experience in OB/GYN ultrasound procedures Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems Previous night shift or temporary staffing experience CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Preferred Education and Experience: Certified Ultrasound Technician (ARDMS or equivalent) preferred Minimum of 1-2 years of prior ultrasound technician experience Prior experience in OB/GYN or general diagnostic imaging is highly advantageous Other Requirements: Valid ultrasound imaging license and certification Ability to work night shifts consistently Willingness to travel if required for training or certification updates Compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations and standards This role offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $66.30, with benefits including weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical coverage, paid sick leave, licensure and certification reimbursements, and a generous referral bonus program.
