Job Description:
SSM Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled RN for our
Cardiac/Stepdown/Telemetry unit. As part of our Catholic,
not-for-profit health system, our RNs play a critical role in
serving the health needs of our communities. Our integrated health
care delivery system ensures that our nurses are supported by the
latest technology and comprehensive resources, promoting optimal
patient outcomes in a compassionate setting. Provide comprehensive
nursing care to patients in the Cardiac/Stepdown/Telemetry unit.
Monitor cardiac and other critical vital signs and detect any
changes, responding appropriately. Administer medications, maintain
accurate patient records, and implement orders from physicians.
Educate patients and families on health care needs, conditions, and
options. Ensure a compassionate environment by providing emotional,
psychological, and spiritual support to patients and families.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to further
patient outcomes. Strong clinical skills with a focus on cardiac
care. Proficiency in using telemetry equipment. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively
in a high-stress environment. Critical thinking and problem-solving
abilities. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the
applicable state. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
