Job Description:

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for orthopedic patients. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to enhance patient outcomes. Educate patients and their families on disease processes, medical-surgical procedures, and other aspects of therapeutic regimens. Manage patient care with specific knowledge and consultation in orthopedic procedures and illnesses. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate using computerized documentation systems. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor responses. Strong clinical skills in orthopedic nursing Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team Proficient in using healthcare software and systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current RN license in the state of practice BLS Certification required Orthopedic Nurse Certified (ONC) preferred
