Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/09/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Adult Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • Patient ratio of 1:5 • 6 months medical-surgical experience required • Fair share of weekends required • Develop and implement total nursing care for patients through assessment, nursing diagnosis, and patient care plans • Provide care to patients across all age groups including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics • Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications • Perform wound care including changing dressings • Insert catheters and start IVs • Adjust specialized medical equipment as needed • Interpret and record measurements from medical equipment • Monitor patient vitals and report adverse reactions to medications in a timely manner • May float to other medical-surgical units as needed • Work cooperatively with ancillary nursing and patient care team personnel • Maintain standards for professional nursing practice in clinical setting Facility: This healthcare facility provides comprehensive medical-surgical services with a focus on delivering quality patient care across multiple age groups.
