Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/09/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ER Job Details: • Work night shifts in emergency department with every other weekend requirement • Maintain patient ratios of 1:2-3 patients • Minimum 2 years of emergency room experience required • Travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted • Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, CPI, BLS, NIHSS, ENPC, ISTAT • Float within scope to meet facility needs as required • Block schedule accommodations available • 12 hours of orientation provided • One pre-approved time off request allowed • Care for patients of all age groups from neonates to geriatrics • Handle general emergency complaints including trauma, stroke, respiratory emergencies, orthopedic injuries, lacerations, and pediatric conditions • Perform specialized procedures including arterial line management, central line care, blood product administration, and procedural sedation • Work with Phillips monitors, Stryker beds, and other emergency department equipment • Meditech charting system experience preferred • Oklahoma nursing license required with submittal • Must include RTO requests with submittal including any needed during onboarding process Facility: This regional medical center operates a comprehensive emergency department featuring 22 rooms and 19 beds with a daily census of 74 patients. The facility is both STEMI and Stroke certified and functions as a Level II Trauma Center, providing advanced emergency care capabilities. The emergency department offers full interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and social services, ensuring comprehensive patient care around the clock.
