Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: /n RN - FS /n/n Job Details: /n • Provide nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex /n• Med/Surg and Stepdown experience required /n• 1 year of travel experience required /n• Level one preferred /n• Required certifications: Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or current multistate compact RN License (eNLC), Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association /n• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required /n• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred /n• 1 year of nursing experience required /n• Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients /n• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments /n• Assist physician in examination of patients and performing minor diagnostic procedures /n• Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients /n• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products /n• Interact with family and patients regarding care plans and discharge planning /n• Delegate tasks to support staff /n• Maintain good working relationships with other employees /n• Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills /n• Basic computer skills required /n/n Facility: /n This major academic medical center serves as a leading healthcare institution providing comprehensive medical services and advanced patient care.
