Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Lawton, OK Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,912 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Cardiopulmonary Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 3 years License: Required Certifications: Required Must-Have: - Strong assessment skills for patients with breathing issues - Experience in administering respiratory treatments - Proficiency with mechanical ventilators - Ability to respond to emergency situations Description: Examine patients with breathing issues. Analyze blood and sputum samples. Conduct lung capacity tests. Provide oxygen and aerosol medications. Administer chest physiotherapy to improve breathing. Manage, set up, and operate mechanical ventilators for patients unable to breathe independently. Provide emergency care, including artificial respiration and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Update patient records and consult with physicians on treatment plans. Assist with discharge planning. Teach patients and families how to manage respiratory conditions and how to use home equipment.
