Physical Therapy Assistant Location: Lawton, OK Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $1,200 to $1,400 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $30.00 - $35.00/Hourly. Summary: The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) works under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients recover from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. The PTA assists in implementing treatment plans, improving mobility, reducing pain, and restoring physical function. Responsibilities: Assist the Physical Therapist in executing individualized treatment plans. Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation programs. Use therapy techniques such as stretching, strengthening, balance training, and mobility exercises. Apply modalities like heat, cold, ultrasound, or electrical stimulation as prescribed. Monitor patient progress and report changes to the Physical Therapist. Requirements Requirements: Recent traveler experience Preferred. 2 years acute and MS PTA experience Required, BLS Certification, Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).
