Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Lawton, OK Agency: Thrive Staffing Pay: $1,513 to $1,707 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) City/State: Lawton, Oklahoma Shift: Nights, 19:00:00-07:00:00 Contract Length: 12 weeks Start Date: 03/28/2026 Job Description: The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will provide respiratory therapy services by assessing patients with breathing issues, conducting tests, managing treatment plans, and educating patients and families on disease management and home equipment use. Responsibilities: Patient Assessment: Examining patients with breathing issues, analyzing blood/sputum, and conducting lung capacity tests. Treatment Administration: Providing oxygen, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy to improve breathing. Life Support/Ventilation: Managing, setting up, and operating mechanical ventilators for patients unable to breathe on their own. Emergency Response: Providing emergency care, including artificial respiration, bronchopulmonary hygiene, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Documentation: Updating patient records, consulting with physicians on treatment plans, and assisting with discharge planning. Patient Education: Teaching patients and families how to manage diseases and use home equipment. Requirements Required for Onboarding BLS Core Mandatory Part III
