Job Description:
Aveanna Healthcare seeks a compassionate and dedicated Licensed
Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team for in-home healthcare
services. This role is geared towards providing low acuity care to
patients within the comfort and safety of their own homes. As an
LPN at Aveanna Healthcare, you will play a critical role in
delivering personalized, patient-centered care focused on promoting
wellness and recovery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for
monitoring patient health, administering medications, and
collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide
comprehensive healthcare services. Monitor patient health status
and respond to variations in their condition. Administer
medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare
provider. Educate patients and families on health condition,
treatment, and home care strategies. Maintain accurate, detailed
records of patients' health and care provided. Collaborate with
registered nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
to ensure comprehensive care. Follow all privacy and compliance
guidelines regarding patient health information. Proficient in
administering medications and understanding of dosage and safety
precautions. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate
with patients and their families. Ability to work independently and
manage time effectively. Good judgment and critical thinking to
handle unexpected changes in patient condition. Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Current LPN
license in the state of practice. CPR certified or ability to
achieve certification shortly after employment begins.
