Job Description Job Description A Safety Coordinator will be
responsible for facilitating compliance with all federal safety
guidelines. The main goal of this position will be to always ensure
a safe working environment and prevent any injuries and accidents.
Responsibilities: Assist or facilitate daily and weekly safety
meetings Perform various safety training in areas of expertise
Complete daily job site, plant, and shop inspections Perform
incident investigation and complete reports as needed Uphold OSHA,
MSHA, FMCSA, EM 385, MUTCD Code of Federal Regulation, and Company
safety standards on all properties owned or managed and job sites
Distribute and manage stock of PPE and other safety supplies Work
harmoniously, cooperatively, and courteously with others at all
times. Perform various tasks and duties that may change often as
the work conditions require. Work within defined standards of
accuracy. Work in various weather conditions, including
temperatures over 85 degrees and below 40 degrees. Perform all
other duties as assigned. Requirements: Valid Driver's License and
Clean MVR Ability to travel throughout the state. An occasional
overnight stay may be needed. Basic computer skills, including
Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Ability to use arms and hand to reach
for, handle, and manipulate objects. Frequent stooping, kneeling,
crouching, bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling. Must be able to
lift a minimum of 50 pounds unassisted. See and hear well
(naturally or with correction.) Bilingual Required
(English/Spanish) Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in
Occupational Safety and Health or extensive background in a safety
position Any of the following Certifications: OSHA 500, 501, 510,
511, 2015, 2045, 2055, 2225, 2255, 2264, 3015, 3115, 3095 This is a
