Job Description Housekeeper Join our team as a Housekeeper at Mystic Healthcare, a 100-bed, family-owned skilled nursing facility in scenic Mystic, CT! We specialize in short-term rehabilitation and long-term care, and we're dedicated to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. As a Housekeeper, you'll help ensure that all resident rooms and facility common areas reflect our commitment to comfort, dignity, and high-quality care. Housekeeper Duties - Follow assigned cleaning schedules and daily housekeeping routines - Maintain all assigned areas in a clean, safe, comfortable, and attractive condition - Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, dusting, disinfecting, and using caution signage - Clean carpets, including vacuuming, deodorizing, and disinfecting - Clean windows, mirrors, walls, ceilings, and resident areas as assigned - Remove dust, dirt, grease, and debris from surfaces using approved cleaning products - Dispose of trash and handle PPE and infectious waste according to facility policies - Coordinate daily housekeeping needs with nursing services - Report accidents, unsafe conditions, or repair needs to your supervisor Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent - Ability to read, write, and communicate in English - Ability to lift, push, pull, and move up to 40 lbs - Ability to work around food, cleaning products, and disinfectants - Attention to detail and commitment to a clean, safe environment Our Caring Community Mystic Healthcare is a family-owned skilled nursing facility specializing in short-term rehabilitation and long-term care.
