*Location:* NE 13th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73104
*Duration:* 13 weeks contract
*Shift:* Saturday-Monday (7:00AM - 7:00PM)

Blended Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $80.00
Blended Weekly Gross Pay Rate: $2,880.00
Minimum Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $42.00
Min. W2 Weekly Gross (Taxable): $1,512.00
Weekly Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,368.00

Pay Rate on 1099 to the Candidate: $83.00
Weekly 1099 Traveler Pay Rate: $2,988.00
*Job Description*:
Under the immediate to general supervision of a mentor or
preceptor, the *MRI Technologist* is responsible for delivering
safe, high-quality diagnostic imaging services to adult and/or
pediatric patients. This entry-level position supports the medical
team by utilizing specialized radiologic technology to assist in
the diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of a wide range of medical
conditions.
*Responsibilities*:
* Prepare patients for MRI procedures by reviewing clinical history
and ensuring safety protocols.
* Operate MRI equipment to capture high-quality images in
accordance with department protocols and accreditation
standards.
* Assist in positioning patients to ensure accuracy and comfort
during scans.
* Transfer images and data to archival systems and prepare cases
for physician review.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely and
effective patient care.
* Perform basic quality control, equipment maintenance, and
disinfection procedures per regulatory guidelines.
* Document all imaging procedures accurately, maintaining
confidentiality and data integrity.
* Respond calmly and effectively under routine or emergent
conditions across multiple care settings.
* Participate in continuing education to maintain competencies and
stay current with best practices.
* Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients and
families to provide support and instructions.
*Certifications & Licensure*:
* Graduate of a *CAAHEP-accredited* program in cardiovascular
technology
*OR*
Graduate of a *JRCERT-accredited* program in radiologic
technology
* *BLS* Certification.
* Willing to obtain *MRI certification *within 12 months of
hire.
