Job Title: Carry-Out This is a seasonal position . During our busy season in spring (through the end of May) this position will be more customer-focused; through June and July, many of the duties will shift toward more grounds maintenance-related tasks. Job Description The Carry-Out is responsible for assisting customers with loading their purchases into vehicles, restocking bagged goods, keeping cart corrals organized, and maintaining cleanliness in and around the store. This role is essential for providing a smooth and enjoyable shopping experience for our customers. Ideal candidates are friendly, customer-focused, and enjoy working outdoors. This position requires working outdoors in various weather conditions, standing for extended periods, the ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly, assistance with unloading delivery trucks, and some restocking duties. Key Responsibilities Customer Loading Assistance: Help customers load plant materials, hard goods, and bagged goods into their vehicles safely and efficiently. Bagged Goods Restocking: Ensure that bagged goods (such as soil, mulch, and fertilizer) are consistently restocked and accessible to customers. Cart Corral Maintenance: Keep the cart corrals stocked and organized, ensuring carts are readily available for customer use. Trash Maintenance: Empty trash bins regularly maintaining their cleanliness and usability in and around the store. Customer Service: Provide friendly and courteous assistance to all customers, helping them as needed and creating a positive shopping experience. Team Support: Assist other team members with tasks as needed to keep the store and nursery running smoothly. Training Completion: Participate in required training sessions, including Safety Training and Customer Service Best Practices, to ensure safety and customer satisfaction.
