Job Description Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and
compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to
join our healthcare team. The COTA will work under the supervision
of a licensed Occupational Therapist to assist patients in
achieving their rehabilitation goals. This role is essential in
providing quality care to patients in an outpatient setting. The
ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of care plans,
anatomy, medical terminology, and physiology. Duties - Assist in
the implementation of individualized care plans as developed by the
Occupational Therapist. - Monitor patient progress and report any
changes or concerns to the supervising Occupational Therapist. -
Educate patients and their families on therapeutic activities and
exercises to promote recovery. - Maintain accurate documentation of
patient care and progress in accordance with facility policies. -
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive
patient care. - Uphold safety standards and infection control
protocols while providing therapy services. Qualifications -
Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant from an
accredited program. - Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical
terminology, and occupational health practices. - Experience
working with diverse populations including geriatrics and acute
care patients is preferred. - Ability to develop and implement
effective treatment strategies based on individual patient needs. -
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with
patients, families, and healthcare team members. - Commitment to
maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in
